You don’t hesitate when it’s your time to strike!

From Psychology Today FULL ARTICLE Procrastinators are made not born. Procrastination is learned in the family milieu, but not directly. It is one response to an authoritarian parenting   style. Having a harsh, controlling father keeps children from developing the ability to regulate themselves, from internalizing their own intentions and then learning to act on them. Procrastination can even be a form of rebellion, one of the few forms available under such circumstances. What's more, under those household conditions, procrastinators turn more to friends than to parents for support, and their friends may reinforce procrastination because they tend to be tolerant of their excuses. HOW TO BE HAPPY AT WORK

Image
From the Bhagavad Gita: "You have the right to work, but for work's sake only.  You have no rights to the fruit of your work. Desire for the fruits of your work must never be your motive in working. Never give way to laziness either.... Be even-tempered in success and failure; for it is evenness of temper which is meant yoga. Work done with anxiety about results is far inferior to work done without such anxiety, in calm self-surrender.... Those who work selfishly for results are miserable. In the calm of self-surrender, the seers renounce the fruits of their actions, and so reach enlightenment....When your intellect has cleared itself from delusions, you will become indifferent to the result of all action, present or future."  CLICK HERE TO BY THE BHAGAVAD GITA AND OTHER BOOKS
